Since in 2012, I promised myself that I’m going to become HEALTHY, I have decided to stop eating sweets. Yes, stop.

Except of course for things like fruits and the occassional birthday cupcake or whatever, but other than that, I’m stopping (And the Krispy Kreme donut I ate a while ago doesn’t count. I’m stopping now. At this very moment. Not counting that donut. That point across?) for good! 

WHY? 

  • I come a family line of people with diabetes
  • I just realized I get really cranky when I eat sugar
  • It is VERY addictive and I am very bad at addictions, plus, it’s like the legal Heroin
  • It has some awesome highs, but all I get afterwards are horrible lows
  • I always feel horrible after eating a lot of sugary things, like physically.
  • It actually causes depression! Strange… (BUT NOT DARK CHOCOLATE!) 

Now, before I get a ton of bad “YOU WEIRDO” mail from people who probably post sugary things on a daily basis, I just wanna say that I’m not doing this forever. Maybe a treat here and there, but I hate the lows, I really do. I always feel like a depressed monkey after all the hyperactivity. 

Maybe in parties when I NEED to be hyperactive, but other than that, life must go on, and it must go on the healthy way. :)
